Subscribers

Add customers, renew them when they pay, suspend, reset and disconnect.

Adding a subscriber

FieldNotes
UsernameThe PPPoE or hotspot login. Unique within the workspace.
PasswordLeave it empty to have one generated.
PlanSpeed and limits come from here.
Service TypePPPoE, Hotspot, or Any. A login of the other type is refused.
ExpiresOptional. After this moment they cannot log in (or land on the isolation plan). Leave it empty for no expiry.
External IDOptional. Your own customer number, to find them later or link them to another system.
Static IPv4 / IPv6 PrefixOptional. Always give this subscriber the same address.

Can they log in?

Each subscriber shows what would happen if they logged in right now:

allowedThey can log in.
suspendedYou suspended them. Activate them to let them back in.
expiredTheir expiry date has passed. Renew them.
limit reachedThey used up their data or time. Reset their usage or renew them.
isolatedSuspended, expired or over a limit, but let in on the workspace’s isolation plan.

Renewing after a payment

When a customer pays, open the subscriber and choose Renew. Pick how long (a number of days or months) and where to count from:

  • Current Expiry date adds the time on top of what they already have, so paying early never loses days.
  • Now starts the new period from this moment, for customers who come back after a break.

Add a Payment Reference (the receipt or transfer number). If the same renewal is submitted twice with the same reference, it is only applied once. You can also switch their plan as part of the renewal, for customers who upgrade from their next period.

Other actions

SuspendBlock them now, with an optional reason. They are disconnected. Undo with Activate.
Reset UsageStart the data and time counters from zero, for a new quota cycle.
DisconnectEnd their current session. They can reconnect right away. Useful for "my internet is stuck".
EditChange the password, plan, login type or expiry. Changes reach live sessions straight away.
DeleteRemove the account for good.
