Everything in the dashboard can also be done through the API, so a billing app can run Mikrodius for you: it creates a subscriber when a customer signs up, renews them when an invoice is paid, and lets them expire when it is not.
How it fits together
- Your billing app keeps customers, invoices and payments, and decides who has paid.
- It calls the Mikrodius API with an API key to create, renew or suspend subscribers.
- Mikrodius sends webhooks back: a login was refused, a quota ran out, an FUP step was reached, a router went offline.
Getting started
- 1Create an API key
In the dashboard under Developers. Use read-only for reporting tools; they never see passwords.
- 2Register a webhook endpoint (optional)
On the same page, and send a test delivery to check it arrives.
- 3Read the API reference
The API reference lists every endpoint and event. Building with a coding agent? Download the agent skill from the top bar; it includes a step-by-step guide to building a billing app.
